Существует также выражение that's no way to run a whelk stall - так не подобает вести дело (в США: that's a hell of a way to run a railroad!). Есть также вульгарная, но очень колоритная фраза, обозначающая невысокое мнение о чьих-либо организаторских способностях:

He/she couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery. — Он/она не может организовать даже выпивку в пивоварне.
